Control and Regulation Technician for Region Östergötland

Do you want to work with advanced technology that makes a difference for people's health and safety? We are looking for a control and regulation technician who wants to be a key player in the operation of Region Östergötland's hospital facilities.

About the Role

As a control and regulation technician with us, you will work to ensure that the systems for ventilation, heating, cooling, and energy function optimally. The role involves both practical work and strategic optimization to create energy-efficient and reliable solutions.

You will be part of an organization consisting of operations technicians, electricians, refrigeration technicians, carpenters, and other competencies. You will work with complex and interesting buildings.

Your main responsibilities include:

Operational monitoring, alarm management, and optimization via control, regulation, and monitoring systems
Troubleshooting, service, and maintenance
Developing and proposing improvements and alternative solutions within property automation
Assisting with analyses regarding energy and media monitoring
Documenting and updating system data
Collaborating with colleagues and contractors to ensure high operational reliability

You will be based at the University Hospital in Linköping but may work at all of Region Östergötland's hospitals.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology and problem-solving, who is flexible and enjoys taking on challenges. We prefer that you are comfortable working both independently and in a team.

Good understanding of technical installations
Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and operation cards
Knowledge of electricity

You are good at collaborating and building good relationships, both internally and externally, and you communicate clearly and pedagogically in both speech and writing. The work requires you to be meticulous and systematic, with the ability to see both details and the big picture.

Meritorious

Post-secondary education in control and regulation technology, automation, or equivalent.
Experience in practical regulation technology and programming of DUC/PLC.
Experience in operational monitoring of large facilities with overarching SÖ systems
Experience in operational optimization
Skills in CAD
